Giidjaa Hire hires telehandlers from 1,400 kg to 4,000 kg lifting capacity for mining, gas, infrastructure and construction sites. Hire is long term and dry, with machines delivered to site.

What is a telehandler used for?

A telehandler is the machine you reach for when a forklift cannot get there and a crane is more than the job needs. The telescopic boom lets you place a load out in front of the machine and up over an obstruction, so it lifts materials onto a slab, feeds a work front from outside the structure, and handles pallets, bags and steel around a laydown yard. Because it runs on rough ground and picks up attachments, one machine tends to cover work that would otherwise need several.

What capacities are available?

The range starts at 1,400 kg, which is the compact end and suits tighter sites and lighter loads. From there it steps through 2,500 kg, 3,000 kg in two configurations, 3,500 kg and 4,000 kg at the top. Pick on the heaviest load you will actually lift and how far out you need to place it, because reach and capacity trade against each other on every telehandler once the boom is extended.

Can telehandlers be hired long term?

Yes. Telehandler hire is written for the length of the project rather than by the day, and hire-to-buy is available on selected plant where the machine will stay with the job. Machines are delivered from our Geebung depot across South East Queensland, including Brisbane, Ipswich and Toowoomba, and out to regional Queensland, and we supply Sydney and regional New South Wales as well as Perth and surrounds. Availability and lead time depend on the model, so tell us the capacity and the dates early.
