Which Surat Basin locations do you supply?
Toowoomba is the gateway to the gas fields, and most of our work in this part of Queensland runs west and north-west of the city. We supply vehicles into the Surat Basin gas project areas including:

A vehicle that is two or three hours past the nearest town has to arrive right, because sorting a compliance gap after the fact costs a day of travel before anyone touches a spanner.
What do gas project crews hire most?
Mine spec Toyota Hilux utes are the backbone of the fleet out here, in Workmate, SR and SR5 grades depending on whether the vehicle is a plain work truck or a supervisor vehicle. The LandCruiser 70 Series goes onto the roughest ground and the longest runs, and Ford Ranger XL and XLT fill out the numbers.

How do you keep vehicles running out west?
Crew transport and equipment travel with the vehicles when a project needs them. Coaster buses and vans move crews to and from the work face, and generators, lighting towers, telehandlers and pumps go out on the same account rather than a separate hire. Across the hire we manage servicing and registration, booking work in with providers the vehicle can actually reach rather than dragging it back toward the coast. Hire is long-term dry hire to business clients, with hire-to-buy available on selected vehicles and plant.
