Palazzani Spider Lift Hire Brisbane & Queensland
Palazzani XTJ spider lifts, from the XTJ 37 through to the XTJ 48.1, supplied on long-term dry hire in Brisbane and across Queensland.
Which Palazzani XTJ models can you hire?
Giidjaa Hire supplies the Palazzani XTJ spider lift range on long-term dry hire. The model number is the nominal working height in metres, so the range steps up as the work goes higher.
| Model | Nominal working height |
|---|---|
| Palazzani XTJ 37 | 37 m |
| Palazzani XTJ 43 | 43 m |
| Palazzani XTJ 48.1 | 48 m |
The right model depends on the working height the job needs and how much access there is to get the machine into position. Availability, configuration and lead time are confirmed on enquiry, so tell us the height and the access and we will come back on what can be supplied.
What is a spider lift and when do you need one?
A spider lift is a compact tracked elevated work platform that drives in on narrow tracks and then sets itself down on stabiliser outriggers before the boom goes up. The tracked chassis puts very little pressure on the ground it sits on, and the folded machine is narrow enough to pass through access a truck-mounted or wheeled boom cannot.
That combination suits atrium and internal work in warehouses and public buildings, facade and glazing access, signage and lighting maintenance in tight courtyards and laneways, and any job where the ground, a slab or a landscaped surface will not take a heavy wheeled boom.

Where do you deliver?
Our depot is at Unit 2, 186 Granite Street, Geebung in Brisbane. From there we deliver across metropolitan Brisbane, Ipswich, Toowoomba, Gympie, Redlands and Goondiwindi, and out across regional Queensland including the Surat Basin gas project areas around Wellcamp, Dalby, Chinchilla, Miles, Roma and Wallumbilla.
Spider lift work also runs further north, and we deliver to Mackay and the surrounding region. Give us the site and the dates early, because lead time on an access machine depends on the model and where it has to travel. The rest of the Brisbane range is on our Brisbane hire page.
Can a spider lift be hired long term?
Yes, and that is how we hire. Giidjaa Hire is a long-term dry hire business rather than a day-rate counter, with a minimum hire term of three months, so a spider lift is written to the length of the job. On maintenance and fitout programs that suits the machine staying with the site instead of being booked and returned week by week.
Dry hire means you supply the operator and we supply the machine. The difference between the two models is covered in our guide to wet hire versus dry hire.
